WHAT IS SPAY/NEUTER/NOW (SNN) ?

 Spay/Neuter/Now (SNN) is a non-profit, grass roots organization dedicated to reducing the companion pet over population in the North Country through 2 programs.

  (1) The Neuter Commuter is a low cost  mobile surgical unit.  The Neuter Commuter currently works in St. Lawrence, Jefferson and Franklin counties.

  (2)  The Voucher Program Giving Assistance for Spaying & Neutering. Income guidelines apply to both the Neuter Commuter and Voucher Programs.

  (3) Humane Education program teaching children kindness, compassion & respect for animals and all living things as well as providing adult humane education through workshops. Working on a educational program to end animal cruelty.

 Helping animals, people and communities is the organizations goal.

The voucher program started in 1994 it has given financial assistance to over 10,000 spay/neuters.

The Neuter Commuter went on the road in 2004 and proved that the mobile concept works! Now we are introducing the next generation of mobile clinics.  

Humane Education is an on going program teaching both children and adults
