Spay/Neuter/Now Mobile Clinic

St. Lawrence County Addressees other than Massena will receive $10 off the Spay/Neuter/Now price per cat from St. Lawrence Valley SPCA. St. Lawrence Valley SPCA is now including addressees in Potsdam, Colton, Pierrepont, Parishville, Hopkinton, Lisbon, Lawrence, Clifton, Norfolk, Norwood, Brasher and Hermon in their program through the rest of 2011.

The Mobile Clinic is a low-cost mobile surgical unit for cats run by Spay/Neuter/Now (SNN) professionals and volunteers in St. Lawrence and Jefferson Counties and Parts of Franklin and Lewis Counties. Income guidelines apply to both the Mobile Clinic and the Voucher Program.
Spay/Neuter/Now started with a Voucher Program in 1994 and in 2004 with the first Mobile Clinic (Neuter Commuter). By the end of 2010 together with the Voucher Program, we have helped spay & neuter 10,843 cats and dogs. In 2010 SNN spayed or neutered 564 cats in the Neuter Commuter II.
SNN Spay/Neuter Surgery Package costs $50.00 per Cat. This includes the Spay/Neuter Surgery, Rabies and Distemper (FVRCP) Vaccinations, Pain Medication, Flea Treatment (Advantage) and Ear Mite Treatment (if needed). This amount is to help us cover some of our costs and still keep the surgery affordable.


	The Neuter Commuter II is a state of the art 27 foot mobile surgical unit. It has been operating since 2008.

	The Mobile Clinic Process:
	After contacting Spay/Neuter/Now to check your eligibility, we will mail you and Application for Assistance. This must be filled out completely and returned to the Spay/Neuter/Now office attached with proof of income.
	Once SNN receives and processes the application, we will send you a Surgical Consent Form, Pre-Surgical Instructions and Directions to our clinic. Prior to the clinic day, you should fill out and sign the Surgical Consent Form and Pre-Surgical Instructions, and bring them with you to the clinic. If you have any questions concerning the instructions, please contact us.
	Note: If you have lost any of the paperwork or it has not arrived in the mail, please contact us before the clinic.
	We do Day Surgery. We ask clients to arrive 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM with their paperwork and animal(s) in individual, rigid carriers. Typically you are able to pick up your animal(s) from surgery by 5:00 PM the same day. We require clients to pay in cash at checkin; we do not take checks or credit cards. Please bring any vaccination records with you.
